Clean Energy Spotlight: James Won

This week’s #cleanenergyspotlight is James Won, head of CS Wind America. The #windpower manufacturer recently began a $200 million expansion of their Pueblo, Colorado factory, which will add 850 new local jobs. The factory, which makes towers for turbines from U.S. steel from Illinois and Wisconsin, will be the largest facility of its kind anywhere. "Nobody in the world can compete,” Won said.

“President Biden set an ambitious dream for wind power in the United States,” Won told media. “We expect our American production to go from around 40% now to close to 50% of our total business by 2028. That’s why it’s so important.”

Congratulations, James and CS Wind for advancing the #cleanenergy transition in America with hard-working American professionals.
