WORKER SPOTLIGHT (brought to you by CE4AEF’s Faces of Clean Energy program)

This week we spotlight Sarah Slusser, the chief executive officer of Cypress Creek Renewables, a solar and storage power producer that develops, owns, and operates projects across the U.S.

Sarah has over 30 years of experience in power markets and, as an investor, has led investments of $4 billion across the electric sector nationwide. At Cypress Creek Renewables, Sarah works to provide a full suite of long-term operations and maintenance solutions for utility-scale and distributed solar and storage projects.

“The most revolutionary development is the fact that storage has become economic. This completely changes the game for wind and solar to contribute meaningfully to the grid. We’re heading there [to 100% renewable energy] as storage and offshore wind continue to decline in cost,” she told Nomura Greentech in an interview.
