CLEAN ENERGY PLAN BRINGS NEW JOBS, LOWER COSTS TO NORTH CAROLINA

There’s a clean energy job boom happening in North Carolina—and the Biden Administration is making it happen.

The Inflation Reduction Act’s clean energy provisions mean investing almost $10 billion and counting in North Carolina for a healthier, more prosperous, and just future.

The law  will lower North Carolinians’ energy costs, make our infrastructure more resilient, and put our country on the road to energy independence.

In just one year, President Biden’s landmark climate investment has created over 4,000 new clean energy jobs across North Carolina.

Since August 2022, 9 additional clean energy projects have been created in North Carolina, including Atom Power’s expansion in Huntersville, and Alpitronic’s in Charlotte. These projects are paving the way for more good paying jobs in the state.

The Biden Administration’s plan for the clean energy economy also invests in an affordable and reliable energy grid—instead of wasting money on dirty energy that pollutes our communities’ air and water, overheats the planet, and creates even more extreme weather.

But this is ONLY the beginning.
