For disaster preparedness month, we’re spotlighting clean energy professionals focused on grid modernization. Rob Gramlich is president of Grid Strategies LLC and is co-founder of Americans for a Clean Energy Grid.

What is the most important thing about transmission or grid decarbonization that people should know? “Everybody cares about reliability and the public safety and health that comes with a reliable power system,” he said at a 2022 CE4A event on grid modernization and resilience. “Transmission is usually what saves the day when one region is short.”
