Wisconsin Lands $24M in Energy Upgrades

USDA’s REAP program is investing $24 million in Wisconsin to cut energy costs, create jobs, and boost energy independence. Thirteen projects include solar arrays, energy-efficient grain dryers, and a methane digester creating jobs and saving businesses thousands annually while powering homes and supporting local economies.

$855K for Rural Solar Projects

Farmers and businesses in Madison and Macoupin Counties, Illinois  are receiving $855,000 through REAP for solar installations. These projects will save $140,000 annually in energy costs and produce enough energy to power 75 homes.
