Clean Energy Spotlight: Christian Warren

This week’s #cleanenergyspotlight is Christian Warren, president of Atlanta’s Midflare Corporation, a solar developer that builds and manages large solar projects.

Warren founded Midflare in 2009 and has led the operation ever since. With over 15 years of executive leadership experience and 25 years of experience in the consulting and manufacturing industries, Warren's expertise allows him to implement affordable solar projects with ease for his customers.

When he isn’t assisting clients with solar initiatives, Warren is dedicated to creating “programs that show kids that careers in clean energy are real and can be fun,” he told the Faces of Clean Energy Program. That helps reduce energy burdens on underserved communities, and it will also “provide clean, affordable energy” and thus “mitigate the growing impact of climate change.”

Warren also gives back to his community. He mentors young black entrepreneurs in Atlanta. Plus, Midflare partners with Ecorse Public Schools so that students can participate in a 10-week clean energy course, getting “hands-on experience to supplement science curriculum.”

“These skills are in short supply,” Warren told the Faces of Clean Energy Program, “and they will benefit the recipients in the long term.”

Congratulations Christian. Thanks for building the future of clean energy in America.
