Clean Energy Spotlight: Christina Hayes

This week’s #CleanEnergySpotlight is Christina Hayes, the executive director of  Americans for Clean Energy Grid (ACEG)

At ACEG, Hayes and her colleagues unite stakeholders and educate policymakers to advance the policies necessary to ensure that America’s electricity grid is resilient, responsive and powered by renewable energy.

Previously, Hayes served as vice president of Federal Regulatory Affairs at Berkshire Hathaway Energy and was also an attorney and legal advisor with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).

“We have access to tremendous resources with a lot of diversity, and we need to make the most of that,” she said at a 2022 CE4A webinar. “And the most effective way to do so is through transmission.”

Congratulations, Christina, for being our latest #cleanenergyspotlight.
