Why is clean energy important to you? Energy touches all parts of our lives. And for the first time in history, we are able to access it without the negative impacts of burning fossil fuels. Making it more affordable and equitable. It not only makes sense for our planet, but for our pocketbooks as well.

What's a memorable clean energy project you’ve worked on? The most memorable is creating EDICT (Empowering Diverse Climate Talent) a now women of color led organization that aims to launch 500 climate careers and inspire 10,000 more by 2025.

What did you do prior to working in clean energy? Why did you transition to the clean energy industry? I was a proud union airline worker, hotel night clerk, a bartender, and finally a political staffer. I found clean energy because I was assigned to work for President Obama's Secretary of Energy, Steve Chu.

What do you wish more people knew about the clean energy industry? That its lifecycle costs are lower than the costs of fossil fuels.
