What's a memorable clean energy project you’ve worked on? Developing and Commissioning a state-of-the-art Hydrogen Combustion Test Facility with SWRI - Southwest Research Institute of San Antonio, TX, a partnership with Solar Turbines.
What did you do prior to working in clean energy? Why did you transition to the clean energy industry? Hydrogen Combustion as a Mechanical Design and Combustion Test Engineer for Solar Turbines (a Caterpillar subsidiary).
What do you wish more people knew about the clean energy industry? I wish more people knew about the "Green-washing" Oil & Gas companies are doing to "re-brand" themselves after their century of corruption, war, and emissions that contribute to Global Climate Change.
Is there anything else you’d like to share? "Workforce Development" for Offshore Wind seems to be for blue collar and construction services, meanwhile all the high paying high quality Design Engineering jobs are still in Northern Europe overseas due to rampant [failing] capitalism. American Labor is sadly suffering wage theft, wage deflation, and weak benefits compared to other Developed/Industrialized countries.
