Why is clean energy important to you? Energy is foundational to our economy as basic infrastructure. we have to design it right so it can be sustained for future generations

What did you do prior to working in clean energy? Why did you transition to the clean energy industry? I was in school for applied physics and electrical engineering. I wanted to have a more direct impact on society and work on sustainable ways to provide energy for our economy.

What do you wish more people knew about the clean energy industry? The clean energy industry need people from a diversity of backgrounds and skills (e.g. business development, sales, human resources, engineering, program management, etc.). I have hired people with no previous experience in clean energy and what made them successful was their curiosity, engagement, and enthusiasm for learning and asking questions.

Why should congress invest in clean energy jobs? Investing in clean energy is investing in our future. Our economy is dependent on energy and future generations are dependent on energy being sustainable, renewable, plentiful, and clean.
